There are 8 FREE reserved parking spaces for Pacific Balance clients in the 400 Mercer building garage.
The garage entrance is on 4th Ave N with a neon 'Public Parking' sign. Please park in numbered spaces: 15,16,17,18,19 located on the back wall of the street level (P2) or 62,63,64 located on the lower level (L).
There is no need to validate a ticket or pay – parking is FREE during your appointment.
From there, the elevator is located in the center of the garage. Pacific Balance is located on the 3rd floor, Suite 302.
All appointments are one hour of one-on-one time with your therapist. The initial appointment will include a thorough evaluation as well as physical treatment. After your first treatment, your therapist will recommend a plan of care usually consisting of a series of visits. Please allow time after your appointment to schedule appointments.
Depending on the treatment you’ll receive at Pacific Balance, a change of clothes may not be necessary. Often times, only comfortable footwear and pants are suitable. For an athletic- related issue, it is recommended to bring workout clothing including appropriate footwear.
Some insurance companies require a referral for physical therapy while others do not.
Medicare, Department of Labor and Industries (Worker’s Comp), and Auto Accident (PIP) claims all require a referral to be attained before treatment is started.
When the front desk looks up your insurance benefits, they will find out if a referral is required with your plan. If so, a referral can be attained from your Primary Care or Specialty doctor.

What will my insurance cover?
Your treatment at Pacific Balance will be categorized under your Outpatient Rehabilitation benefits. Most insurance companies cover this service between 70-100% after your deductible has been met, or will cover at 100% with a co-pay of about $10-$45 due per visit. The front desk staff will be able to assist you in looking up your benefits prior to your appointment. Please provide them with your Insurance ID, Group #, and your Date of birth.
